| Welcome to Westcan Inflatable Boats . . . I am Brad . . . Originally, from Richmond, B.C., I have never been too far away from the water. I spent 10 years volunteering for the Coast Guard Auxiliary in Steveston. We looked after the commercial gillnet fleet in the Fraser River and Howe Sound. Weaving in and out of fishnets to help unfortunate boaters off the Sand Heads Light Station was a common occurrence. Regardless if these people were professional mariners or recreational boaters they were always thrilled to see us. I have also spent time cruising around Vancouver Island as well as up into Alaska. When I wasn’t volunteering, I was employed by Avcorp Industries an aerospace manufacturer. Originally, I was hired as a final assembly mechanic. However, I have spent some time as a charge-hand mechanic, toolmaker, and an inspector. As a mechanic I have always taken great pride in my work. As an inspector, my role was to ensure we always delivered a quality product to the customer. Although, I have a passion for big block Chevelles I have spend considerable amount of time working on boats. I converted an older aluminum water taxi to a fantastic sport fishing boat. For those that are interested, there are some photos on Facebook. In May of 2008, Aldis Marine Group Ltd. acquired all the assets to Western Canadian Inflatable Boats. I look forward to supplying great products and outstanding customer service to the most discerning clients. Give me a call anytime to discuss acquiring a new boat or schedule service for an older one. 604 945 - 2771
